Last week Sophie Flynn celebrated the publication of her brand new suspense thriller Keep Them Close with a special book launch in Moreton in Marsh.
On Thursday 7th July, Redesdale Hall was packed with family, friends and readers, all excited to celebrate Sophie’s latest publication. The evening included drinks, cupcakes, signings and even a live reading by Sophie which you can watch here. In attendance were Sophie’s agent, Kate Nash, publisher Ian Miller from Hera and fellow Cotswold authors, Anita Davison and Helen Yendall.

Keep Them Close follows Emily, a mother of twins who trusts an online stranger with her secrets. At first, internet forum MumsOnline proves to be a lifeline where anonymity allows her to say what she never could in real life. But when she finds herself being stalked, Emily realises someone is using her secrets against her… and they will threaten everything she loves to destroy her perfect life. Described by the Daily Mail as ‘A splendidly twisty psychological mystery’, Keep Them Close is a thrilling exploration of the dark side of parenting forums that fans of T.M. Logan, Lisa Jewell and Gillian McAllister will love.
Sophie is a Cotswold based psychological thriller author whose debut novel, All My Lies, was published last year. With an MA in Creative Writing from Oxford Brookes and her job as the Head of Marketing at Jericho Writers, Sophie’s many stories have placed in competitions with organisations such as Writing Magazine and The Cheltenham Literature Festival.
Sophie Flynn said, “As Keep Them Close is set in the Cotswolds it felt only right to celebrate its publication in my hometown of Moreton alongside so many family, friends, neighbours and local authors. I’m delighted that the book has been so well supported by the town and can’t wait to sign more copies in our local bookstores!”
Keep Them Close, published by Hera (Canelo), is available from all bookshops.
